Day.18/19

so sunday it was my last time at CB alliance for well who knows. i was super blessed though to be able to be there for those 10days and just think through everything and just get to see everyone and get the proper nutrition and care that i needed with my ankle and what not! however one thing about CB...everytime i go there i eat so much fast food. its something CB young adult ppl do cause i swear i never eat so much ever except for that time when im there. however its a nice treat as i usually dont go back home in winbuck so it evens out i guess. but we left around 2 Cb time and it was  alovely 6hr drive home...takes a while but my dad knows that stretch so much now. since he has been on it soo much, he is quite good with it. so we got home safe and sound and that was my sunday! woohoo. the next day...which was today...it was go go go! packing, organzing, sorting, moving, you name it, we did it. so much to do and so little time! however it worked out quite nicely and we got a lot done!

 my my my, we have a lot to go through dont we....most of it though is packed up stuff, stuff waiting to go to the thrift store and what not

 and my room that ive used since ive been here...its so empty.
but what a good day its been. i havnt acutlaly had to do much because...of my ankle! whether thats a bad or good thing...who knows. but all i did was organize and sort through my things...i had a lot more than i expected...God has certinaly blessed me thats for sur! however you know its a good day when...you finally are kinda starting to walk on ur leg :) woohoo! with AND without crutches. granted i cant do it too much but im starting to walk awkwardly, it looks quite awkward but at least its the begginning! thank you Lord for rapid healing that seems to be taking place! the pain has also been limited these last couple days which im also so thankful for. overall its gettting better my summer. well getting there. hahaha! what made my day even better was because jaimun came over and gave me my race package!! woohoo :D i was super happy to get it! it came wiht my number, t0shirt and coupons for stuff, a magazine, some yummy energizing food and all that good stuff you get at a race :)

 and my running buddy! jaimun is seriously one of the coolest guys i know. we run together and he ran extra hard apparently in the race just for me...so he says. but hes from england and one of my best guy friend here. we have fun together!
that was my day and well im kinda tired now so off to bed! toodle loodle everyone!

well all i can say, is my webcam kinda sucks at taking photos! oh well, this is me, saying goodnight and dont let the bed bugs bite!

Day.16/17

So friday came along and it was a great day. i met for coffee with tim at hotshots! we had a nice chat and it was lovely to catch up.

its called a strung out squirrel and its super good! :)
afterwards i went to idlewild park and met up with maddie and ang!

afterwords shannon and rebecca came and we played guitar, and just hung out and relaxed!

we than went to this place and got some yummy frozen yogurt than off to MCD's to get some food we than went to em and becs house and we hung out, played balderdash for abit. kailee came and joined for a bit and we ended up watching sisterhood of the travelling pants! such a  cute movie! and than katie took me for a drive in her new vehicle and we ended up just having a great talk about relationships, guys...stuff like that and it was just super awesome and so good. i def needed something like that with a girl like katie, strong in her faith, who gets me so well. especially since im in a new era of my life so it was helpful to get knowledge from someone who has been in the same water as me as these areas currently are completly uncharted for me as if you've read before i kinda have a guy now so its a whole different ball game. and than i went home and slept. the next day em picked me up and we went out for timmys, hung out in zellars. i got 100$ worth of stuff, since there going out of buisness they have a bunch of great deals! and than we went to get cheesy garlic fingers! :) so good!!!

they were so good! we were super happy about them! as you can tell from our faces! haha and than i just hung out at home and than went to hang out with sydney and kristy for a bit. that was nice. i met their boyfriends and they seem cool. we watched school of rock while waiting for supper than we ate, stir fry and rice! so good! kristy is an amazing cool! we than watched the newest louis giglio video. i highly highly reccommend him! he is so good! such a good one. than i went home and explored various apps for my android and than off to bed as tomorow i have a long day ahead of me. 6 hrs of travelling...wahoo!

Over the 2 week mark - Day 14/15

So wed came along and i just relaxed in the morning and than hung out with emily at the beach and we met up with rebecca and hung out for abit with her!

woohoo for timmys! :)we than went to bible study and that was good to see ppl again and be in a fellowship like that. afterwards i just went home and watched die hard and than when my parents came back they joined me in finishing die hard. which btw are awesome awesome movies! love them soo much! than on thurs i didnt do much in the morning but than met ang and sam at the movies to watch brave! such a cute movie and i would totally see it again!! afterwards i chilled at home, we had supper as a fammily than off to the movies again to see the new batman movie!! it was so good! totally left it open for a sequel as well so i really do hope they make another one! there was kailee, katie, scott and brandon and me and some other guy i didnt know there and it was a prtty sweet group! all those ppl are really awesome! i like them  alot! i just love the cranbrook young adult group here in general, they are amazing, godly ppl and its so refresing to be around them! but that was my day and this next tiny bit im here, well i got a lot of plans so im exicted to see everyone before i leave as i dont know when im coming back here :( hopefully soon but who knows since my parents will be gone from there it will make it harder to come out but we'll see.

Day.13

Honestly I cant believe its only day 13. it seems so much longer than ive had this thing on my leg but really tomorow will be 2 weeks which is just super werid but what can you do...so yesterday i didnt do much of anything in the morning, just relaxed which is always good than in the afternoon emily picked me up and off we went to the beach! :)

 we had hot shots! it was super good, i highly reccomend going there when in Cranbrook!

and than emily took my phone and took a bunch of random photos of herself, this is my favorite one!
and than we went our seperate ways and i ended up meeting up with colin who I met during my 2 months in between costa rican semesters and he was in traninig for a paramedic! exactly what i want to do. however now he is a fully qualified paramedic and works at the cranbrook station and so we met up and talked. we talked paramedic stuff, we talked non paramedic stuff and it was an awesome 2 hrs. i got so much more knowledge that i wouldnt of known otherwise if i havnt talked to him. hes a great guy, really nice and a great strong chrisitan which makes it all the better! than we parted ways and i went home and finished terminator 2 with my family! such a good movie. than i went to sleep, took me a while to sleep though. ever since coming here to cranbrook it takes me so much longer to fall asleep than back home and i dunno why. its weird but o well. that was my tue.

Day.12

So on monday it was a very chill day, I really didnt do much. I just kinda vegged all day. In the afternoon my dad took me out to hot shots for a smoothie or whatever i wanted. i got an italian slush, its super good! i highly reccomend it! after i vegged some more and than in the evening me and mom watched a movie called mao's last dancer. it was based on a true story and it was super good! i really enjoyed it. ive always liked the movies based on real lives and what not. anywways after that my dad came home and we watched a bit of terminator 2! quite good! i enjoy those movies. and than i went to bed. that was my monday.

Day.11

 well this was my leg last night after taking off the robo boot...so gross! lol
so woke up and having a bath is getting eaiser! however night time is still a pain because my leg aches like no other. and off to church i went. i saw a bunch of the young adult ppl and that was super awesome. its always nice to see and keep up with them. afterwards i went to MCD's with some of the young adults. it was the 2 brandons, katie, oliver, scott and me. it was fun. and we have plans to see the dark knight rises something this week. by the looks of it potentially thurs. im just waiting on a text from brandon to find out when and what not. im excited because scott and brandon havnt seen it so i have ppl to see it with that hanvt seen it like me! yay! and than after i went to the hertiage inn as that was were my parents were with some ppl that lived in hinton with us. they were living out at their cabin for a few weeks. they offered to take me on their boat! im super excited because even though i cant tube :( i can at least go on the lake and thats something!! woohoo! afterwards i went home and just chilled, didnt do much. my head hurt and my leg was hurting a bit more. the joy of having a broken ankle. however i did get a skype call with my roomie texican from 1st sem of Porta so that was super exciting!! it was soo nice to talk to her, and just catch up on each others lives and what not and ya it was a great hr. afterwards i had some ice cream and than off to bed! i actutally had a decent sleep sort of. there was a few times when i woke up and moved my foot wrong and i was in just so much pain. it wasnt fun at all! and however bonus points was when i attempted to turn on my side, not fully but enough to be comfortable and i was so  happy that i could turn my leg on its side, granted i have to be careful not to have anything pushing down on it or pushing it down to hard but it worked out good for the most part and i was super excited! but that was my sunday.

Day 9/10

So early in the morning..well about 10ish left my house - some family friends who were going to their cabin near cranbrook- picked me up and away we went! i was in the backseat beside a most lovely travelling companion - tucker!!

 however for a tiny bit he was just lying there in his own space!

 and for the last hr or so, tucker wanted his head on my lap...it was an experience!
my parents than picked me up and off we went to huckleberrys for supper! twas good!

my dad took my phone and took pics of me, i gave up smiling after a while...
than i was at home and me and katie ended up going to a drivein movie theatre! we watched grease!

i love being here in cranbrook!
and than after that I went back to the house and got ready for bed.

than the next day me and katie went to the farmers market and went to a thrift store! i got a neon orange sweater!

we met joy and 2 other girls there and we hung out and than after went to dq for some food! i had some cheeseburgers and a blizzzard! so good! than me and rebecca parted ways and i hung out with katie! we went to walmart and i got pushed around in a wheelchair!

Day 6 -8

So tue I just relaxed and did what I normally did and than in the evening it was a youth meeting!

 me and lisa ate the pizza on the back of the pick-up since i coudnt really sit on the ground!

than on wed was one of the most enjoyable days yet! i went to an appointment at the orthopedic place and my cast came off!

however they said it would maybe only be about 5 weeks now. which is a huge difference! and than me and scott just drove around, grabbed timmys and just hung than he dropped me off at city park and i met up with laura and kayla!

today i went to lauras house and we made smoothies and grilled cheese! it was great than i just packed and got ready to leave for cranbrook! and now im off to bed! night!

Day.5 - Almost a week!

So monday was prolly one of the more less eventful days. I woke up, showered, played ratchet and clank, watched some community, watched some OC, downloaded some apps onto my phone, kinda fell on my ankle and got a surprise dinner from matt and kayla!

it was sooo good! yum yum!
however that was my day, and this is a super short blog post...prolly the most shortest one yet...but thats okay, hopefully tue and wed turn out more eventful with more events!

Day.4

So sunday came around and I slept through bible study and so got driven to church by some family friends. so greatly appreciative! and i worked up a sweat to get up those stairs...its really difficult to go uphill or downhill with crutches especailly when ur naturally clumsy and have issues without being gimped. but i managed to make it okay and than at church went to the church picnic after.

 i was cold so i used rachels shark towel!
