Day.31-34(First 3 days of VBS!)

so sunday came around and church was good. figured out how to get to vbs the following morning so that was nice and than the rest of the day was relaxed and just chill and played some guitar and some video games and it was nice. that day me and scott officially became facebook offiical :) yay! i mean its facebook, means nothing but still its nice to have it up there! the next day came around and vbs time! i didnt help last yr casue i was in bible school in CR but this yr it acutally worked out well. this week i was suppose to be, well planning to be in Calgary for a Port reunion but because of my ankle injury well i didnt go and so becuase i didnt go i got to help out with vbs! which is actually good that i helped out with it instead of going to Calgary.

so the gr.2's are split into 2 different groups and im with the beavers and the other group is the falcons. i love my beavers, they are the awesomest kids ever! i love this group im with! anyways i went straight into kelowna after that and met up with scott! however the 23 bus was late to the uni so i missed the 8 so instead of getting dropped off near scott's place i took the 97x instead and went to the mall where he picked me up. we than went to his house and played twisted metal. intersting video game, we played co-op and there was one spot we got to and it was so irking! because we spent a looonnngg time trying to beat this race thing and i was the driver trying to get through the checkpoints and he was the person who used his vehicle instead to try to block off the other vehicles. however wehn other vehciles are after you and its like you vs the world well its a bit harder to do it adn not really knowing where to go puts a damper on stuff, however we got over half way but finally decided to stop that race and pick it up another day. hwoever we planned we are gonna beat it because we just cant leave it! after that he drove me home and i had a lovely meal with my parents as they were back for a bit. than we just relaxed the rest of the evening. the next day i went to vbs again and once again it was an awesome day!

 we got a visit from a helicopter! it was pretty awesome!

 not only did the kids love it, so did us adults!

those 4 girls are legit awesome. prolly my most favorite gr.2's ever. they just so chill yet energetic and just so sweet and so cute. i love them and im so happy i got to be their leader! :)
anyways i went home and chilled with my parents and than scott came over about 10 after he was done work and than we finally finished gladiator! woohoo! scott has never seen it before so i was glad we got to watch it. than he went home and i went to bed. it was a good day! i really enjoy hanging out with him. hes a cool guy!

but that was my first 3 days at VBS! im loving it. not loving the fact that my ankle had to be broken so i could work at VBS becuase at first i wasnt gonna to becasue of a bible school reunion in Calgary but now since im not going i could help out at VBS which i think i was suppose to. they were short leaders and well this group that i have is amazing. they are teaching me so much these kids and im so glad im here and helping out and getting to know these girls. they mean a lot to me even though ive only known they 3 days. but so far this VBS expereince has been awesome!!!!
well i got home and had lunch with my parents - leftover pizza :) and than they left to go to florda for my cuz's wedding, i wish i could go but it just didnt work out. i just want to wear my pretty blue dress that i wore for my Port graduation. so i need to go some wedding or fancy occasion. hopefully sooner than later! and the rest of the day i prolly wont do much. go to bed somewhat early so that i dont die tomrow and have energy as its gonna be a big day tomorw with VBS and celebrating my friends birthday! im stoked though. it should be fun! this is a really long blog post. o well, hope you enjoyed reading it. hopefully soon ill know how much longer ill have to be in a boot! cheerio! :)

Day.29-30 - My first couple official days of being 20...

so i the next morning i was super lazy and stayed in bed until 11....it was so bad! but i was kinda tired. so than i got up, cleaned up the house and played some video games. im such a nerd, its super bad. but so awesome! i watched some more OC and than kayla came over and we ate leftovers...which consisited of timbits, ice cream pie, ginger ale, cookies....ya it was bad. but so good! than she drove me to get my cat scan back which i left in our old house and so i went to pick it up from the real estate place that the ppl who now live in my house dropped it off at. twas grand. after i did nothing but sit on my butt and watch some movies. this is my life now and it has its ups and downs but soon ill be back on my feet and working again :) its really handy though to get some good practice with the guitar! the next day i just did the same thing more or less. except that i started sonic! it was exactly the same as the sega when i was younger. it was so fun and i missed it soo much. i played it for quite a while. i got farther in ratchet and clank as well and finished another disc of the OC. than about 830 scott came over and we watched scott pilgrim vs the world. it was intresting. we started to watch gladiator but than scott was kinda really tired so we stopped it and just kinda had a short nap so that he could drive home not super exhausted. i slept in until 11. it felt awesome. i was super tired even though I havnt done anything but now i feel super awake! woohoo! another day here i come.

Day28 + My 20th Birthday!

so yesterday was my 20th. im no longer a teen. now you must understand that im kinda in denial state of the fact that im 20. i dont want to grow up, i wanna stay 19. but i know its has its pros and cons but still im 20...im old! hahaha. anyways the morning i just played video games - ratchet and clank actually! so fun! than jaimun came over around 2 and we hung out and baked!

 i will say im not acutally having my face in the pot, its just for a photo so my face stayed clean!

 and thats what we ended up making...which is a lot. and it took the afternoon away so that was fun!

 and ice cream pie! its a secret recipe passed down through ages of our family :) woohoo!

itss a heart attack in the making though! but so worth it! jaimun is acting out the heart attack part!
anyways than ppl started to show up, jon, and lisa were the first ppl to show up. than we had kayla and her boyfriend justin show up, than we had rachel, and than gordie came and ariel. we watched the olympics and the talking about it and more or less made fun of it, it was great. finally laura and her boyfriend mike came and they were suppose to be here at 7 but it ended up being something like 8:30 or something! lol.

we than went geochaching as there was one super close to where i live. it was a magnetic one! than nic came from here soccer game and we went inside and ate food and chilled and talked. laura said she wanted to go to bed but she really wanted to meet scott and so she stayed up and scott came around 10 since he got off work at 930ish. and than he got to meet a bunch of ppl! which was awesome adn of course the friends i have are totally whacky and so it was a good time. we than played apples to apples for a bit! nic owned us with 12. it was fun. than everyone left and me and scott watched some tv episodes he brought and it was a good time. that was my birthday. well now this is my first day of my 20th and so here goes nothing. im 2 decades old! woohoo!

Day.24-27.

so the next update has been a few days later than i would of liked becuase the internet was down and so i couldnt do anything and my phone wasnt working either and so i just had no internet for the weekend. but now its back! yay! thank you mr.shaw guy! anyways so on sat my parents left and i just chilled pretty much the whole day. didnt do a lot.

 so relaxing at the pool with no one there!

 however it only lasted for about 15min before ppl came!

i finally get a chance to suntan which is awesome becuase my legs are quite different colors. not too bad but def noticalble. after i just played some games and watched some OC and it was quite relaxing. in the evening i went to this spa thing that jeff and elise were hosting. it was pretty good. im def intrested in the energy stuff that is part of it. so when i get back to running i may look into that! sunday came around and raytay picked and dropped me off! i was so thankful for that! and it was an awesome sunday because lee and jana and bryan were there!! :D so awesome to see them :)

and now hes climbing chairs! still super cute as ever! i love this guy. he is the love of my life! anyways after church was done i went back to the condo and didnt do much. just relaxed and chilled and watched some movies and OC and that was that. monday came around and i really did nothing,

i chilled out on the deck for a bit as the pool area was croweded and just studied my EMR stuff. but that was the most eventful thing of my day. the rest of the day i didnt do anything because i didnt know what to do! being in cast for 4 weeks really works on your saneness. if it wasnt for the ps2 from scott, well who knows where i would be in my saneness lvl right now :P haha. i mean i have stuff to do like hang out with God, read the bible, study EMR stuff, watch the Oylmpics!! which im super happy im able to! play video games and watch movies and ya thats my life. its awesome for a bit but after a while...well it gets tedious. but anyways on tue, one day before my birthday, which is super crazy to think that ill be leaving the teens forever! was a really good day. prolly the best one yet. lol. i didnt do much morning than scott came over! :D yay! it was pretty much like 19days more or less that we havnt seen each other so it was nice to see hiim again! we hung out, he beat a part of rachet and clank for me that i was really having issues with! thank you so much scott! and than he gave me some episodes of this random tv series that he had on his usb drive which is called the new girl. and it was...intresting. than we watched a couple eps of season 2 of community! which is awesome! i love that show. he also brought me.....a ps2 sonic game!!! :D im soo stoked. i loved playing sonic on the sega so now i got it for the ps2! and it comes with 7 sonic games! i was super stoked! first though i have to beat rachet and clank! than after we headed down to beasley to meet up with lee, jana and bryan! woohoo :D and i was really happy that scott finally got to meet lee, jana and the love of my life - bryan! because since they dont live here its really hard for them to actually meet the guy in my life at this time and so it worked out quite nicely today. and scott got to meet other ppl which is nice. scott is a great guy. he really is. im so blessed to have him in my life!

Day 23 - First Day in the Condo!

so i woke up not to late. about 7:30ish which is amazing for me. the past night was intense! i wrestled with those 8 pillows like no other! the issue i have is that i dont want them on the ground because i think their too pretty so i attempted to figure out a way to sleep in a super never used before comfortable bed. so i ended up having the 7 pillows stacked on one side! it worked out quite nicely.

 this is my now mostly organized room! closet jam packed with sweaters and soccer jerseys!

 my lovley desk and dresser(which has all my grad stuff on it!)

 the other side of my bed, its huge, too big for me. but thats okay, its super comfy :)

 i finally have a kitchen!! yay :D

and a lovely living room to use!
i think i will enjoy living here! this morning kayla came over and we hung out! i gave her the offical tour than we hung out by the pool! it was quite nice. than i watched some tv while my parents did some more moving of stuff in and out of the storage unit! than me and mom went and got groceries for me! crazy in coopers today! than got home and just had a lovely supper with carrots, snap peas, cheese smokies and perogies :) so good! i love meals like that. than i just organized my room some more and looked at my yr books...from gr.8-12. man does it bring back memories! like no other! good ones and funny ones and embarassing ones and so on...lol i miss high school. well sorta, kinda, in a way. but it was a pretty decent first day today. my parents are heading back to CB for a bit. so it should be good! another new chapter starting in my life today! cheerio! hasta luego :)

Day 20/21/22

so that night well i got a lovely sleep....

 this was my lovely bed

 it wasnt the greatest night for me...
so the follownig day was more packing and sorting and organizing. kinda crazy. steve and heidi came over to help us and than when they left they brought me with them because legit i was doing nothing but sitting on a chair because i cant do much. it was nice to relax and hang out and just catch up with them as they have been in Israel for the past year and so we had a lot to catch up on! jenny came over and she went to new zealand for a yr so we spent a lot of the afternoon and pretty much all evenign till late together just chatting and comparing cultures and just hanging out and having fun! it was sweet!

i got to sleep in a real bed there! i was so excited! it was such a good night and i felt so awake and refresed in the morning!
the next day we were suppose to be out by 12 but it was a tiny bit late and the ppl who were moving in were waiting for us to be done. i wasnt there but thats what my parents told me. so in the morning i just relaxed and chilled and than my parents came in the afternoon and we all just talked and caught up and it was grand. in the evening there was a meeting with some of the elders so me and jessie ended up playing video games! it was fun! i won the first race and he won the 2nd race so someday soon were gonna hafta have another one and see who really triumps. however it brought back so many memories! i use to play need for speed most wanted on my bros xbox 360 and i was soo freakin good. and i could usually hold my ground in games like that against skilled guy video gamers but alas my brother got rid of it and i havnt played for 2 yrs. so i was quite rusty at the driving....so that shows that i need to get one and practice it up some more :) and than the day of moving in came! woohoo! however we waited forever to get the get go that we could actually move in. it was suppose to be in the morning but it got bumped up till 3:30 so we had a while to wait but than we were there! and moved in! and dave and his son ben, and steve and heidi and our realtor dean and his wife came and they all helped us move in! it was so nice!

 i sat on a chair and watched...made sure no one took our stuff while moving. i wish i could do more but all i got to do was tan and sit and relax. hahahaha. i guess there is pros and cons to having a broken ankle!

 we are on the 2nd floor!

 theres my bedroom. bear with me, its messy and so disorganized as were unpacking atm. but im super stoked to be in there

 this is my bathroom! well kind of. my parents have their own in their room so this one ill be using the most and of course ppl will use it when they come over but for the most part its mine!

 our lovely dinning room! 8 ppl can sit around the table...thats a lot. but heyy at least if we have company everryone can have someplace to sit :)

thats the kitchen! im soooo freakin stoked to have a kitchen again! woohoo! i can finally bake! woopdewoop!

and i get to see vehicles as well! woohoo! yay for condos hahaha.
and that is that. well that is the last 3 days. insane and hetic for my family. but now its done and the easy part is ahead of us! im super stoked for this living situation because it will make it so much eaiser for my leg and just everything. the house was difficult to live in with a broken ankle, living here is amazing. i get one floor to work with, no stairs, elevators and a pool and beach and soccer field and workout room all at my doorstep. it should be pretty good. however its a huge change beacause my whole life i have always lived in a house with 2 floors and a yard.now i live on one floor with no yard and in a place with many ppl. so as good as it is...big changes that im still trying to wrap my head around! but well tomrow starts the first official day of living in the condo! cheerio for now!
